The LAKE CX242-X Wide is the culmination of all of Lake's experience, advanced materials and shoemaking techniques, designed to offer the best solution for more difficult to adapt foot types. It is made with a molded heel area and a uniquely designed upper that allows enough flexibility to accommodate riders with bunions, deformities, narrow or wide feet, or high or low insteps. Separate panels allow for precise adjustment of the fit, relieving pressure on sensitive and painful points on the feet.
\nThe upper is made of Clarino microfiber, lined with NuFoam and reinforced with carbon fiber panels to help maintain a firm grip and stability of the foot. The upper is divided into 6 independent zones for the most flexible fit, accommodating both narrow and wide feet and feet with high or low insteps. The shaped heel counter doubles the heel hold for a secure fit. Carbitex support panels provide additional support to improve closure.<\/p>\n
